Listeria Outbreak Linked to Prepared Pasta Meals Recalled

A multistate outbreak of Listeria monocytogenes infections was investigated by CDC, FDA, and USDA-FSIS. The outbreak was linked to prepared pasta meals from Nate's Fine Foods, Inc. A total of 28 people from 19 states were infected, with 27 hospitalizations and 7 deaths reported. The outbreak investigation concluded, and the contaminated products were recalled.
