Data freshness, limitations, and corrections

Three questions come up often enough to deserve one short answer each, with a link to the full detail rather than repeating it here.

How fresh is this data?

Every detail page shows its own "Data last retrieved" date. Sources with a confirmed live feed are checked against a 48-hour staleness threshold; see methodology for the full refresh schedule and what "provisional" means for a record still being updated by its source.

What are the known gaps?

Some fields (like recall lot codes) aren't captured by every importer yet, and a few sources aren't connected yet at all. Public Health Trace shows these honestly as missing rather than blank or invented -- see methodology's known limitations section for the current, specific list, and data sources for per-source status.
